There is new legislation coming in for Wales and landlords need to take action to avoid any penalties. This is a reminder that you have until 31st May 2023 to provide a written statement to your contract-holders (tenants) or risk having to pay 2 months' rent back to them! 

Who does it affect?

All tenancies and licences that were active on 1st December 2022. 
 

What do I need to do?

You will need to review EACH of the existing terms of your assured shorthold tenancy (AST) contracts to decide whether they will or will not form part of the converted contract.
